Position: Marketing Executive -  Aviation Industry
 

Duty Station: Nairobi
 

Duties and Responsibilities

• To manage sales and marketing activities with the aim of achieving revenue, service targets
• Build solid foundation, internally and externally that allow the company to achieve set goals
• Maximize yield and build commercial and brand awareness and loyalty
• To maximize the use of online sales tools; promote the company’s
• Define strategic approaches to convince prospective airline customers about the benefits of the company.
• Bring an extensive airline experience to the team to provide different insights into the various sales campaigns and a better understanding of the customer.
• Define strategic approaches to convince prospective airline customers about the benefits of the company.
• Prepare a detailed business plan and subsequently coordinated the response in collaboration with various internal departments such as contracts, engineering, customer support and training.
• Prepare and maintain documentation relating to the aircraft and look at possible options to enhance the tools and databases available to support the company’s sales activity.
• Where required, the candidate should be able to prepared competitive product performance comparisons and economic network analyses. In some cases, carry out traffic analysis and fleet planning studies tailored to specific customer requirement.
• Devise and deliver the consumer and travel trade communications and ensure all stakeholders are educated on the company’s aircraft in order to drive passenger numbers and revenue.
• Remain fully informed on market trends and suggest best practices

Skills

• Excellent oral & written English
• Negotiation skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills knowledge
• Exposure in aviation industry
• Air craft line maintenance background will be an added advantage

Minimum Qualification for Applying to the above Post

• Educational Qualification – Graduate/Masters in Business Administration
• Experience - 2-3 years experience in Aviation Industry.
• Travel experience is desirable
