Concern Worldwide Senior Finance Officer Job in Nairobi, Kenya

Concern Worldwide is an international non-governmental humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries.
 
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Kenyan nationals for the following position:
 
Job Title: Senior Officer - Finance
 
Location: Nairobi
 
Duration: Open Ended Contract
 
Job Summary: The incumbent will ensure that all payment transactions are timely and in compliance with Concern procedures. 
 
S/he will also be responsible for cash flow and petty cash management
 
Job Specification:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
  • CPA (K) or ACCA professional certification
  • At least three years’ experience previous experience working in an international NGO that works with and through partners is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer software and applications, including at least one accounting software, preferably Microsoft Great Plains (MGP) and Word and Excel applications
