The BBC World Service is the World’s largest International
multimedia broadcaster with a global weekly audience of 192 million people,
delivering a wide range of language and regional services on radio, TV, digital
and social media.
We have recently launched Global Newsbeat , an exciting project
to bring News in Kiswahili to young adult audiences across East Africa, to help
them better understand events and issues which affect their lives, as well as
bringing the latest in entertainment, technology and sports.

Are you an experienced broadcast journalist who is fluent in
spoken and written Kiswahili, with an excellent comprehension of written and
spoken English?

yet know what are the issues which are important to the young people in your
