recruit a high caliber, results-oriented and self-driven Import/Logistics
Manager to join their team in the capacity below.
The ideal
candidate should have worked abroad preferably in a similar capacity.

- Administrates and manages import merchandise flow.
- Organizes suitable flow from different countries of sourcing
- Set up procedures in coordination with finance team
- Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
- Communicate freight transportation information to customers or suppliers, using transportation management, electronic logistics marketplace, or electronic freight information systems, to improve efficiency, speed, or quality of transportation services.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
- Negotiate transportation rates or services.
- Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems.
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
- Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies
Skills
& Abilities for Carrefour Import/Logistics Manager Job
- Minimum of a Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar field
- Excellent knowledge of customs rules and regulations.
- Good networking techniques
- Costs oriented.
- Pragmatic decision maker
