An International Hotel Chain based in Westlands is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager.

He/she will be responsible for the financial and accounting management of the hotel.

The successful candidate must have a complete understanding of all the Hotel's operations and Finances.

Key Responsibilities of Hotel Finance Manager Job in Kenya

• Ensure that the accounts, records and transactions are accurate at all times.
• Implement controls to safe guard the hotels assets
• Prepare and interpret financial reports, audits and statements of the hotel.
• Provide  financial information to the management and prepare weekly/monthly reports
• Compile budgets and and forecasts covering all the hotels activities
• Ensure compliance with established controls and procedures.
• Ensure that inventory of all supplies are taken on weekly/monthly basis
• Maintain adequate stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with established credit and collection procedures.
• Will be responsible for all the hotel's cash and credit revenues
• Carry out revenue reconciliation 
• Prepares and process the monthly payroll for the employees and maintaining employee records.

Hotel Finance Manager Qualifications/ Skills

• Minimum Education of Bachelors degree in accounting or relevant discipline 
• Minimum of 4 years working experience with a minimum of 2 years within the hospitality environment
• Knowledge in PMS or EPS 
• Excellent written and spoken English 
• Excellent reporting, analysis and numeracy skills 
• Focused, well organized, flexible with ability to work with minimum supervision 
• Positive attitude towards challenges and drive to excel

Monthly gross Salary: Kshs 200,000/= = Approx 2,222 USD
