Employer: Our client, a multinational company
offering facilities management services, catering services, and camp management
services is seeking a qualified HR professional to fill the position of Human
Resource Officer – Turkana.
Duties
and Responsibilities
- Oversee HR management for over 100 employees
- Payroll management and statutory returns
- Oversee training and development activities
- Support and streamline staff onboarding activities
- Employee relations management
- Oversee industrial relation issues
- Provide staff with continuous advice on company policies and procedures
- Prepare and submit timely HR reports to head office
- Maintain cordial relations with labour office and institutions
- Manage and document staff disciplinary cases, union meetings and staff records from recruitment to separation
Requirements
& Skills
- Must be 30 years and above
- Male candidates encouraged to apply
- At least a diploma in Human Resources (HR) or related
- Membership with a professional body
- At least 5 years continuous HR experience in a busy organization and managing many employees
- HR generalist skills preferred
- Deep understanding of Kenya Labour Laws and Acts affecting Human Resource management
- Possess excellent computer and Ms. office skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-driven with people skills
- Mature and organized with excellent planning skills
