Job Title: Sales Executive – Building Materials

Report to: Managing Director 

Industry: Construction 

Location: Nairobi 

Salary: 30k – 50k + Commissions

Our client is in the construction industry specializing in distribution of imported and local building materials. 

They are a distributor for one of the largest cement factories is Kenya. 

They seek to hire an aggressive individual to fill the position of Sales Executive.

Job Purpose: To build and expand the business by prospecting and identifying good deals, selling as well as maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with clients. 

Duties & Responsibilities of Sales Executive Job Vacancy

• Identify business opportunities by qualifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
• Generate Sales by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
• Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending service improvements.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing market information.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Contribute to team effort by meeting targets set out

• At least a Degree in Business Administration/ Sales/ Marketing or any related field.
• Must have at least 2 years sales experience selling building materials.
• Must have a good understanding of the construction industry.
• Has experience in managing relations with distributors.
• Presentation Skills.
• Client Relationships.
• Must be a go getter with good energy level, and has motivation to do sales.
• Must possess good negotiation skills.
• Prospecting Skills.
• Must have a proven record of meeting Sales targets.
• Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
