Head of Marketing Job in a UK Based Telecom Company in Kenya 2015

Our Client, a leading telecommunication Company based in the UK, is looking to recruit a Head of Marketing for their Nairobi office. 

He must have experience in graphical design and marketing. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding and analyzing product offerings
• Interpreting the business needs and developing a marketing concept.
• Estimating the time required to complete the work and providing quotes
• Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research.
• Redefining a design brief within the constraints of cost and time.
• Presenting finalized ideas and concepts.
• Interact with marketing agencies.
• Working with a wide range of media, photography and computer-aided design (CAD).
• Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief.
• Working on layouts and art working pages ready for print.
• Updating and editing the website in coordination with the Content and IT manager.
• Updating available materials (text, photos, and videos).
• Developing graphics and layouts for illustrations, company logos, and websites
• Overseeing the social networking platform.
• Planning, development and implementation of marketing operations.
• Overseeing development and implementation of brochures, web listings, posters and banners.
• Organizing the efforts of the marketing and communications internal and public relations staff.
• Maintaining of all marketing materials within and outside the office.
• Handling suppliers/sourcing (Marketing & branding agencies, printing firms)
• Liaising with the procurement department to ensure correct branding of campaign items.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s  Degree / PG Diploma in Marketing
• Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in a similar role
• Must have good presentation and negotiation skills
• Digital Marketing, Media interaction and Creative designing
• Be articulate and able to communicate well with customers
• Ability to learn fast
• Posses good organizational and time management skills
• Be a team player
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Self driven with high level of integrity

Monthly gross salary:Ksh. 170,000 /= (Approx. 1,888 USD)depending on experience
