Willfreight Express Cargo Services, freight company whose operational area encompasses East African countries and on global scene through partnerships; seeks to invite qualified candidates to apply for the position of Sales and Marketing Manager.

Reporting to the GM, the sales and marketing manager will plan, direct and coordinate marketing of company products and services. 

He/ She is to ensure targeted profitability and service delivery is achieved.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and marketing, all its activities and staffs,
• Formulate marketing strategic plans for the company in liaison with top management,
• Execute marketing plans and programs both short term and long term to ensure revenue growth, new market acquisition and expansion of company products and services,
• Setting production targets for sales and RBD team members,
• Planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; 
• Provide quarterly results assessments of sales and RBD staffs productivity,
• Assist the company in identifying and targeting profitable market and building strong business relationships,
• Assist the Human Resource in recruiting, training, developing and maintaining quality sales and RBD staffs,
• Coach sales staffs and motivate sales staffs,
• Establish a system of reporting and communications involving sales reports, cyclical sales meetings, sales newsletters, presentations and electronic bulletins,
• Review  the range of company products and services, promotional materials etc and enhance innovation for longterm company success.

Requirements (only qualified candidates will be considered)

• Minimum degree in Business Field preferably Marketing or Commerce;
• Minimum 5 years active work experience in marketing preferably in the Freight and  Logistics industry;
• Proven track record of performance in marketing;
• Posses technical marketing skills such as; Meeting Sales Goals, Negotiation, Selling to Customer Needs, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Building Relationships, Coaching, Managing Processes, Market Knowledge, Developing Budgets, Presentation and Staffing skills.
