Report Writers & Lead Report Writer
Position: IBTCI
seeks Writers and a Lead Report Writer to produce reports which
summarize and analyze verification findings of activities implemented by
DFID implementing partners throughout Somalia.
Report writers will be
expected to produce timely, well-written and soundly structured and
documented verification reports (deliverable-based assignments) and the
Lead Report Writer will be in charge of overall quality and delivery
(staff position).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Impeccable English language skills with the ability to write succinctly, coherently and effectively.
- Demonstrable experience in report writing with a strong bias towards research, monitoring and evaluation and donor reports
- Strong skills in analysis of qualitative data
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in the Social Sciences, Humanities or English
Desirable Qualifications
- Relevant experience (journalism/research/report writing), not required but a plus
- Knowledge of the Somali context and Language
- Experience in humanitarian program and knowledge of the key programming sectors
