Our client is aleading Trade Marketing firm in East Africa. They offer services to thei cleients which are designed to maximise sales for brands across retail channels.

They have a  suit of marketing services geared to optimising a clients brand, via retail output by giging them a greater control of the point of purchase drivers, putting them on the fast lane to winning market share.

They seek to hire an operations assistant.

Job Purpose: To support the Advertising Operations Manager in managing online and outdoor advertising campaigns from beginning to end, managing inventory and communicating campaign performance to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• The implementation, testing and optimization of certain campaigns in line with bookings and with site specifications.
• Providing screenshots and end of campaign reports for every campaign you manage
• Daily monitoring of delivery and of performance to ensure campaigns deliver optimally and in full
• Being a point of contact for technical and specification queries and providing a very high level of client service in this capacity
• Chasing for assets before campaigns are due to go live
• Managing inventory and suggesting alternatives to the Sales team where certain inventory may not be available
• Interact with the sales team to support pre- and post- sale activity, as well as while campaigns are live in order to optimize performance and up selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or similar field
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Professional qualification in marketing -MSK, CIM
• Atleast 2 years experience in project management for experiential marketing
• Experience an a strong understanding of promtions, field marketing and sales operations particularly FMCG
• Knowledge of regulatory and logistical issues around trade and marketing activities
• Pro-activity and confidence
• Ability to work long hours and to withstand pressure

• Direct the opening of files and undertaking briefs therein up to completion.
