Job Description: Senior Manager
Duma Works is recruiting for one of our clients.
The company is an International Financial Consulting Firm managing projects in 4o developing countries.
The Candidate will lead and support assignments typically focused on training and technical support to clients of the company in Francophone and Anglophone Countries.
The Candidate will be required to conduct some or all of the above in Francophone countries from time to time.
- Assist with the development and submission of proposals to generate business – particularly for the Practice Group(s) of which he/she is a member (with Specialists)
- Lead or assist with the planning and implementation of technical assistance assignments primarily coming on the back of the trainings, and also may be placed in other assignments
- Assist with the planning and implementation of training programs at the company
- Assist with the review and quality control of training courses delivered, research papers prepared, curriculum developed and technical assistance provided for the company or on “as needed” basis
- Conduct Performance appraisal and feedback sessions of the staff members who are aligned to them.
- Conduct “Quality of Delivery” assessments in line with the quality control guidelines
- Conduct peer reviews of reports/documents
- Represent the company at workshops, seminars and conferences as necessary.
- Author /Co-author of thematic publications capturing innovative ideas /new trends, future of the sector etc.
- Actively engage in Marketing Activities and participate in Digital Media dialogues linking the company work and Publications.
Academic/ professional qualifications:
- Masters level degree (or higher) in Banking / Business Administration / Accounting / Economics / Sociology or related field
- Other relevant professional qualifications in line with areas of specialization
Experience
- At least 5-7 years’ experience in experience in Alternative Banking Channels/Agency Banking, Mobile Money or other Digital Financial Services
- Experience in conis an added advantage.
Skills and Competences:
- Excellent spoken and written English and French
- Ability to lead assignments and teams and work with minimal supervision
- A strong field orientation and proven inter personal skills
- Leadership skills, decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, and people-management skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and a working knowledge of email and internet
- Candidate should be analytical, have good communication skills to address heads of institutions, and excellent at creating and presenting reports.
