Allied Services Ltd is a logistics company based in South Sudan.

We serve a wide range of clients in South Sudan offering a wide range of services which include but are not limited to Air Cargo Services; Air Charters; Road Cargo Transportation Services; Boat Cargo Services; Customs Clearance and Car hire Services.
 

We are looking for a dynamic, creative and self-oriented professional to fill the position of:
 

Operations Consultant
 

Location: The Incumbent will be located at the Company’s Headquarters in Juba, South Sudan
 

Terms: Renewable Contract
 

Job Summary: Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Operations Consultant will oversee the formulation and Implementation of the overall Operations & Logistics policies of the company.
 

 

Main Duties:

• Formulate Policies and Guidelines on the Operations and Logistic functions of the Company in line with international standards of air, sea and land Export /Import Administration Regulations;
• Prepare a detailed well documented Operations Policy Manual for reference purposes.
• Provide consultation to management and leaders for operational effectiveness.
• Provide recommendations on business process improvements and best practices.
• Conduct business operational assessments and deliver recommendations for improvements.
• Identify and resolve business risks/issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct training to internal team on International business processes standards.
• Guide operations team on business operations and problem solving skills.
• Understand business challenges and translate them into process/technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities for improved operational performance at the organizational level.

 

 

Job Specification:
 

The incumbent will be required to possess the following qualifications, attributes and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business; Management; Logistics or related discipline, or equivalent;
• At least 5 years extensive experience in Operations/logistics field at a Senior level;
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the aviation industry with regards to Aircraft Loading; Preparations of Flight Navigation Logs& Air Traffic Control Flight Plans; Fuel Planning; and Handling of Dangerous Goods
• Demonstrable Consultancy skills;
• Flexibility and ability to multi-task under pressure and tight deadlines;
• Ability to work well in unstable and frequently changing security environments;
