A well established financial institution with a countrywide coverage wishes to recruit a suitable person for the following position:

Internal Auditor

1 Position

One Year Renewable Contract
 

Reporting to Senior Internal Auditor

• Ensures that the organization’s system and processes are efficient and all the company’s regulations are adhered to on a continuous basis.
• Appraise the Organization’s system of internal Controls and making recommendations for improvement
• Carry out the internal audit of the activities of the Organization
• Ensure Financial Transactions comply with prescribed policies
• Ensure of planned compliance reviews and documentation of the expectations
• Conduct post audit reviews, and ensure implementation of agreed on corrective action plans
• Support the Audit function in ensuring that management policies and procedures are adhered to and internal controls are sound.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or any other business related degree (preferably) accounting.
• Full professional accounting qualifications i.e. ACCA, CPA (K)
• Minimum of 3 (3)years’ experience in implementing Audit plans and programs
• Experience in conducting and supervising both financial and management audits and ability to audit a computerized operations financial and accounting systems
• Proficiency in using Microsoft office applications and preferably computer audited techniques
• Honesty and Integrity.
