Reward  Consultant Job Vacancy in Nairobi, Kenya

Our client is seeking to recruit a highly ambitious candidates to fill in the following position in their Kenya office.

Reward Consultant 

This consultant will be in the Human Resource Services mapped to the Reward  and Remuneration Team within Tax

The role requires  a candidate to develop  specialised expertise in Reward offering, a sub-set within the Tax line of service, which delivers various services including  Reward Strategy & Policy Design, Remuneration Benchmarking, Employee  Share Ownership Plans Design, Short Term & Long Term Incentive Design, Rewarding Training, Pay Structuring and Reward Communication.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Understanding clients business  and related reward issues and provide  workable creative recommendations
  • Drafting and presenting  project proposals  in response to  client needs 
  • Collecting, analysing and preparing reports with respect to remuneration and benefits
  • Researching and keeping abreast of reward matters in the local and International market
  • Executing reward consultancy  assignments on time and within firms' quality standards
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients to the level of being their trusted advisor
  • Articulating recommendations to clients  and relating  them to resolving their needs 
  • Being keen to work as a member of a team servicing the existing clients and helping in winning and developing new ones 
  • Participating in facilitating reward trainings 
  • Undertaking Key Account Manager role for assigned clients 
  • Complying with External/Internal risk management requirements and ensure  that all the client engagements are performed in accordance with the risk and quality protocols 

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Bachelors' degree from a recognised University 
  • Diploma in Human Resources Management  or CPA II or equivalent
  • High integrity and Ethical standards
  • Meticulous attention to detail 
  • Highly analytical and numerate with a good level  of computer literacy Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
  • Intensely client focused, ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels 
  • Effective team player, works with minimal supervision
  • and output driven
